Six Reasons to Visit The Beaches Arts and Crafts Show 2019
1. It's in the Beach
This cozy laid back neighbourhood running along the shore of Lake Ontario is the closest thing Toronto gets to a chill west coast vibe. It is a wonderful area to spend a lovely spring weekend. The Show itself is situated in beautiful Kew Gardens, a manicured park gently sloping from the Queen Street shopping district down a ravine towards the popular beach boardwalk.
2. Shop Local. Shop Canadian. Support Handmade
A breathtaking range of quality handmade goods will be there for your perusal this year, the 34th edition of the Show. More than 150 artisans -- 50 of them new this year -- from the Toronto area and across Canada will have fashion pieces, fine art, jewelry, fine foods, natural body care products and of course home and garden décor for sale.
3. It's for a good cause
The Beaches Arts & Crafts Show is for the benefit of Neighbourhood Link Support Services, a non-profit support service agency working to help newcomers, youth, unemployed, seniors and the marginally housed, primarily in the east Toronto community, to live independently and with dignity. It has helped more than 11,000 people annually since 1975.
4. Prizes
Visitors at the Show who play Spin-the-Wheel can win prizes -- Canadian handmade pieces from participating artisans, tote bags and more!
5. It's free!
Enough said.
6. We'll be there
Come visit us at Booth 51. We'll have our popular Northern Friends collection of handmade pillows, and some new things to show you as well. Download the floorplan now.
